JOB PURPOSE
Our Paid Search (SEA) consultants team is working on helping our clients develop and grow their online businesses. As a Lead you’ll be managing a team of SEA specialists ranging from junior to senior level across one of our key ecommerce clients. Here you do not only run campaigns, but you also act as a business partner for our clients. This means that you’re thinking with the client and you’re consulting them based on marketing needs, challenging their goals, assessing feasibility and carrying on with a resolution. This role requires a deep understanding of paid search, strategic planning, and a passion for driving results. The ideal candidate can manage and optimize paid search and shopping campaigns, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and provide strategic recommendations to clients. You are a critical thinker and analytical problem solver, equally curious and creative. You have a strong command of paid search platforms, such as Google Ads and Bing Ads, and can effectively communicate complex ideas to clients and internal stakeholders. You have a track record of driving results and optimizing campaigns to meet client objectives. As a key member of the team, you will contribute to the growth and success of our clients’ digital campaigns. Besides your client responsibilities, you’ll also be working on developing your team. It’s your responsibility, alongside the department head, to make sure every member has what they need to deliver their best work and that they grow professionally.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Develop and implement effective paid search strategies that align with client objectives and target audience;
- Being able to spot client challenges together with the team member and knowing how to stimulate the team member to work towards a solution;
- Manage multi‑market paid search and shopping campaigns for clients;
- Lean into automation and use of data within campaigns, including utilizing AI to improve performance;
- Monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and provide regular reports to clients, highlighting key metrics and recommendations for improvement;
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in paid search advertising;
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless execution of campaigns and alignment with client goals;
- Stay informed about changes in search engine algorithms and adjust strategies accordingly;
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment;
- Being aware of the well‑being, development and progress of its team members;
- Being able to create valuable personal development plans together with its team members and offers structural guidance in order to help them achieve the goals that have been agreed on;
- Being able to define the expectations for the whole team and knows how to convey this well.
WHAT YOU BRING
- 6+ years of solid experience in creating, managing and optimizing paid search & shopping campaigns, preferably within a digital agency or similar environment;
- Experience in mentoring/guiding co‑worker(s) or a team of digital specialists;
- Have a self‑confident, competent and empathetic appearance with which you manage to convince colleagues as well as clients of your ideas;
- Strong knowledge of paid search platforms, such as Google Ads and Bing Ads;
- Proven track record of driving results and optimizing campaigns to meet client objectives;
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive campaign optimization;
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to clients and internal stakeholders;
- Are analytical, flexible and can work independently;
- Can present complex results in clear and understandable language;
- Can communicate in English fluently (spoken and written);
- Are located in the UK and are ready to commute to our London or Manchester office twice a week.
