JOB PURPOSE
As a Senior Copywriter, you’ll join our global Copy Team of nearly 60 creatives across the world. You'll craft content for digital channels and brand campaigns, delivering on-brand messaging that drives clicks, engagement, and brand awareness. We're looking for inspiring team players who are eager to share their expertise. You should be just as comfortable producing efficient, high-quality day-to-day work as you are developing standout ideas for award-winning campaigns and new business pitches. This role requires a genuine passion for editing and giving critical feedback. You will be expected to uphold our clients' creative standards, while continuing to push new ideas and embody DEPT®’s entrepreneurial spirit.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Develop creative concepts and outstanding copy for digital campaigns for a leading international brand.
- Write content for a wide range of channels, including banner ads, newsletters, websites, social media campaigns, and localized adaptations across text, design, and video formats.
- Apply strong conceptual thinking and creative writing skills to craft engaging and effective messaging.
- Proofread all German-language content to ensure flawless spelling, grammar, and alignment with brand guidelines.
- Present your ideas convincingly to colleagues and clients, showcasing the strategic and creative thinking behind your work.
- Adapt global campaigns for the German market in a way that feels authentic and culturally relevant.
- Conduct competitive and trend research to inspire fresh creative directions.
- Lead and participate in creative brainstorms and other key meetings.
- Demonstrate leadership, professionalism, and collaboration in all interactions.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Relevant experience as a copywriter, ideally within an agency or brand environment.
- Strong expertise in multi-channel digital copywriting and brand development is a major advantage.
- Proven experience in translation, transcreation, and proofreading.
- Ability to write compelling, sales-driven marketing copy in German is essential.
- Confidence in working closely with designers, strategists, account managers, and clients.
- Ability to manage large-scale marketing campaigns with multiple deliverables at a fast pace.
- Understanding of the importance of consistency across touchpoints in the user journey.
- Experience using AI tools to support campaign and copy creation is a must.
- Highly collaborative and proactive approach to teamwork.
- Native-level or C1 German and excellent English skills, both written and spoken.
