We are looking for a Senior Digital Consultant to join our Experience & Engineering team. You will play a leading role across large-scale digital programmes, primarily websites and digital platforms, for high-profile clients like Nikon, HSE, and St. James's Place.

You will be working with senior stakeholders across complex, multi-market environments, helping shape digital strategy and ensuring delivery drives measurable business outcomes. This is a senior, commercially accountable role. You will take ownership of client relationships, shape strategy, and drive growth – ensuring the work we deliver creates real value for both our clients and DEPT.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Leading senior client relationships, acting as a trusted partner and advisor to key stakeholders.
  • Owning the strategic direction of accounts – shaping roadmaps, defining priorities, and connecting digital initiatives to wider business goals.
  • Responsible for the Account Plan and driving account growth by identifying, shaping, and converting opportunities across markets, platforms, and DEPT capabilities.
  • Operating with a strong commercial mindset – understanding budgets, value, and trade-offs, and making decisions that support both client success and account performance.
  • Acting as the bridge between disciplines (strategy, design, engineering, data), ensuring joined‐up thinking across teams and regions.
  • Leading cross‐functional, and often multi‐market, teams to deliver high‐quality work that is aligned to strategy and executed effectively.
  • Navigating complexity and ambiguity – making clear decisions in fast‐moving or uncertain environments.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • 5+ years of experience in a digital consultancy, client services, or similar role (agency experience preferred).
  • Proven experience working with global, high‐profile clients of comparable scale and complexity, across multiple markets or regions.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex client relationships and influence senior stakeholders with confidence.
  • Strong strategic thinking – able to define direction and connect digital solutions to commercial and business outcomes.
  • Commercial awareness and experience contributing to account growth, including identifying and converting opportunities.
  • Comfortable operating with autonomy, owning outcomes rather than tasks.
  • A proactive mindset – someone who brings ideas forward, challenges thinking, and looks for better ways of doing things.
  • Strong understanding of digital platforms, particularly websites and CMS‐driven ecosystems.
  • Excellent communication skills – clear, structured, and persuasive.
  • Somebody who is open to frequent travel between London, Manchester and Amsterdam.
WE OFFER
  • A competitive salary, based on your experience.
  • Hybrid working, with time both at home and in one of DEPT's offices.
  • Regular team socials and office perks.
  • Access to training, development and certifications.
  • The opportunity to work on complex, high‐impact programmes for global clients.
  • A reputation for doing good. DEPT has been a Certified B Corp since 2021 and named 'Agency of the Year' at both The Lovies and The Webby Awards.
  • Awesome clients. Whether big or small, local or global — at DEPT you'll get the opportunity to work with clients of all sizes and across all industries. And we celebrate all of our successes together!
  • The opportunity for possibility. We want to enable you to do what you do best and help you develop your skills further with training, development and certifications.
  • Global annual DEPT Cares Month in which employees come together and donate their skills to support local charities.
