This position sits in our Experience & Engineering business unit. We primarily deliver large-scale website design and build projects, combining our skills in developing future-ready technical solutions with our expertise in creating beautiful designs to help clients including Nikon, London Marathon Events and END. Job Purpose
We are seeking a strategic, commercially minded eCommerce Consultant to help shape high-performing commerce solutions for ambitious brands. This role sits at the intersection of business growth, customer experience and platform strategy, perfect for someone who blends hands-on commerce experience with a sharp eye for growth opportunities and transformation. As part of our ecommerce craft team, you will lead strategic pre-sales engagements and be central at elevating our presence as a leader in the commerce space. This role blends consultancy with platform and ecosystem understanding. You will help shape RFP responses, present in pitches and develop strategies while acting as a trusted expert across all stages of the sales cycle, including working with our strategic partners. We especially welcome candidates with brand-side experience who have delivered transformation projects, successfully navigated complex replatforms, and are experienced in team structuring and customer journey optimisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Digital ecosystem, platform advisory and growth strategy: Develop digital commerce strategies focused on KPIs such as revenue growth, AOV, retention and conversion. Translate business goals into actionable digital roadmaps that connect marketing, product, and tech, in collaboration with our Solution Architects. Recommend fit-for-purpose commerce platforms and tooling, including CMS, PIM, CDP, loyalty and personalisation engines, in collaboration with our Solution Architects. Partner with clients to build and scale roadmaps that enhance performance, ensure robust content governance, and enable cohesive cross-channel experiences.
- New business, pitching & thought leadership: Participate in new business pitches by crafting tailored commerce strategies, designing stack architecture, and contributing to proposal writing. Work collaboratively with creative, UX, tech, and delivery leads to present a cohesive and compelling response to RFPs. Share POVs, write whitepapers and speak on panels to represent our thought leadership in the commerce space.
- Client Engagement: Act as a trusted consultant across commerce directors, CMOs, digital leads and merchandising teams. Run discovery workshops, audit current commerce capabilities and lead strategy presentations. Balance commercial imperatives with technical realities — articulating trade-offs clearly to client stakeholders.
