We are looking to recruit on behalf of our independent client an experienced Mechanic / Fitter.
About the Role:
Working from a fully equipped, modern garage, you'll be responsible for the servicing and maintenance of vans, plant, and machinery. You'll also be supplied with a mobile van that's kitted out with everything you need to carry out breakdowns and off-site repairs. This is a hands-on, varied role where no two days are the same. You'll be a vital part of keeping the operations running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Servicing and maintaining vans, plant, and machinery
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues in the garage and on-site
- Responding to breakdowns using our fully equipped mobile van
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in plant/machinery and vehicle maintenance
- A self-starter with strong mechanical skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Working hours are on Mon-Fri basis 8am - 5pm. A full CV will be required.
