We are looking to recruit Class 2 drivers for our well established nationwide drinks wholesaler client. You will be responsible for delivering products to customers' premises within a geographical radius from the depot with assistance from a Driver's mate. You will be physically fit as heavy lifting and cellar relay is involved.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake vehicle inspection checks.
- Ensure customer orders are secured and packaged correctly for delivery prior to departure.
- Inform the customer of any order delays, stock shortages or problems.
- Ensure health and safety procedures are adhered to.
- Complete all paperwork and any administration tasks.
- Liaise with Transport Management regarding vehicle issues/delays.
- Ensure full compliance with Tachograph legislation.
You will have three years of driving experience and a minimum of 12 months of Class 2 driving. You hold a valid HGV driving licence and CPC licence, ensuring you're fully qualified. Excellent customer service is essential and every order should be delivered with care, in a friendly manner and on-time. This is an ongoing role with 6am starts and a full CV will be required.
