We are looking to recruit operatives on behalf of our waste management client based on a large multi business site. You will be required to work as part of a collection team, collecting cardboard, plastic and paper and in addition baling tyres. The role will require manual handling and most collection work will be outdoors in all weather conditions.
There are no set qualifications for this role; however, previous experience in the waste industry or yard work is desirable. It would also be beneficial to be physically fit, with knowledge of health & safety and use of a compactor and baler, and ideally hold a FLT License. Full training and induction is provided.
A positive and helpful attitude with good communication skills is essential as you will be representing the on-site based waste management company collecting from all current businesses on site.
This role is initially on a Monday to Friday basis and working hours are 8am to 5pm. To suit the needs of the business, days may vary within the working week - to be discussed. A full driving license and CV are required.
