Office Manager – Manchester

Job Purpose
To provide the backbone of the Manchester office by driving a warm, inclusive environment and managing day‑to‑day office operations, from client hospitality to strategic office management tasks.
Part‑time role: 3 days a week, Tue‑Thu 8:30‑17:00 (with reasonable flexibility).
Key Responsibilities
Front of House Operations
- Maintain the smooth operation of the Manchester office by managing client experience, hospitality orders, and meeting room arrangements.
- Oversee and arrange post and courier services.
- Manage office supplies and procurement.
- Maintain office cleanliness and the look and feel of the space (e.g., emptying bins, restacking the dishwasher).
- Work closely with IT site support to report all issues with equipment.
- Share office information to all staff on a real‑time basis.
- Be willing to train as a first‑aider and fire warden.
- Liaise with building reception and suppliers.
Office Management Tasks
- Support the People team with office‑related onboarding and off‑boarding tasks.
- Track office expenditure against budget.
- Maintain inventory of office furniture.
- Act as the point of contact for landlords and soft facility management providers (plant maintenance, cleaners, etc.).
- Provide direct support with office management tasks for other offices.
- Work with the Office Experience Lead to maintain accurate records of contacts and certificates.
- Adhere to and support sustainable practices across the Manchester office in alignment with DEPT® B‑Corp certification.
Office Culture Tasks
- Help unify the UK, Ireland and Toronto teams to provide a consistent experience for staff and support local events and team‑wide activities.
- Own Manchester social and cultural activities and support the Office Experience Lead when planning events across UKI.
- Own regular internal communication moments such as intranet, newsletters and local communications.
- Support global ad hoc projects to the wider business.

- Highly computer‑literate with experience using G Suite.
