JOB PURPOSE
Are you a visionary Influencer leader ready to move beyond tactical execution and shape the future of the creator economy? We are seeking a dynamic Head of Influencer to transform our EMEA discipline into a powerhouse of operational excellence, strategic innovation, and consistent client impact.
You will serve as a thought leader, shaping a forward-thinking vision for the Influencer craft across EMEA. You won’t just follow social trends; you will proactively integrate AI-driven talent discovery, automated reporting, workflows and Influencer-first creative frameworks into our daily operations. Your goal is to redefine what 'performance' looks like when creators are embedded at the heart of the media mix.
You will lead a growing team across EMEA, removing blockers and ensuring they have access to the right tools and knowledge. You will empower every lead and consultant to deliver creatively brave, culturally relevant, and consistently excellent work that drives long-term client success.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Strategic & Operational Leadership: Take the strategic lead on the performance, profitability, and long-term growth of the Influencer discipline across EMEA. Establish the right organizational setup to ensure quality and standardization across all markets.
- Innovation & AI Integration: Accelerate the transition from manual outreach to AI-augmented influencer management. Proactively integrate AI tools for talent vetting, trend forecasting, and automated campaign analysis to redefine efficiency.
- Craft Excellence: Define and evolve the DEPT® influencer proposition, setting the standard for creator strategy, platform usage, and cultural relevance. Ensure influencer is embedded "upstream" in client roadmaps rather than as a tactical bolt-on.
- Client Impact & Growth: Oversee our Top 20 Media and Influencer accounts, driving innovation and excellence in delivery to ensure high levels of satisfaction, account retention, and organic growth.
- People Development: Coach and mentor Influencer Leads across EMEA. Identify skills gaps and foster a culture of People Happiness, giving team members the confidence to deliver high-impact, business-driven projects.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Enable x-craft collaboration, bringing Influencer activities closer to adjacent crafts such as Paid Social, Content, Data, and AI to ensure an integrated Growth Invention approach for our clients.
- Tech & Tooling: Drive the adoption of the right creator tech and internal tooling, ensuring a data-led approach to talent selection and ROI measurement across all accounts.
- Knowledge Sharing: Champion the influencer craft internally and externally. Encourage knowledge sharing between EMEA markets and ensure we are first to move in adopting new platform features and creator formats.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Experience: Have at least 10 years of experience in Influencer Marketing and Creator Strategy, with a proven track record of leading large agency teams and managing global client portfolios.
- Strategic Visionary: You have a deep understanding of the creator economy and how to translate brand objectives into creator-led platforms and ideas that earn attention.
- Operational Mindset: Highly autonomous and proactive, with the ability to own complex regional projects and drive operational improvements that improve margins and delivery.
- AI & Tech Curiosity: You don’t just follow trends; you understand how to apply AI and automation to enhance the influencer workflow and provide deeper insights to clients.
- Leadership: Genuinely gain energy from guiding others and leading leaders. You are a natural mentor who prioritises team engagement and professional growth.
- Communication: A confident, dynamic communicator able to work across functions and regions to bring a unified influencer vision to life.
- Commercial: Has built and grown profitable teams in other businesses, including heavy involvement in pitches.
- Integrated Knowledge: Have broader digital marketing knowledge (Paid Social, Organic social, content and Data) to ensure influencer strategy is perfectly aligned with the wider media mix.
