We are looking for an Executive Assistant who creates the conditions for our CEO to do their best work.
This is a highâtrust, highâownership role. The best EAs at earlyâstage companies operate like an extension of the founder â anticipating needs, protecting focus, and making sure critical things donât fall through the cracks.
About The Job- Calendar management: ruthless prioritization of the CEO's time, proactive scheduling, and protecting dedicated blocks for focused work
- Email and communication triage: managing inbox, drafting responses, and flagging what needs attention now vs. later
- Meeting prep and followâup: pulling context before meetings, capturing action items, and ensuring followâthrough
- Travel coordination: booking flights, accommodations, and ground transport efficiently and without drama
- Project tracking: keeping tabs on open threads across hiring, investors, customers, and internal initiatives
- Research: there are always new projects and strategies we are exploring, so having someone that can dig deeper into particular corners is a major help
- Ad hoc support: whatever comes up that helps us move faster and be more focused
- You have 2+ years as an EA or in a highâtrust operational support role, ideally supporting a founder or Câsuite executive at a startup
- Your written communication is excellent â weâre an async remote company where written communication is key
- Youâre proactive by default â you solve problems before theyâre surfaced to you
- Youâre techâforward and comfortable with async tools, Google Workspace, Slack/Discord, ChatGPT, Claude, and picking up new systems quickly
- You stay calm under pressure and can contextâswitch without dropping things
