With a modern fleet, multiple UK depots, and around 300 employees. The Depot Operations Coordinator serves as the “gatekeeper” of the depot. This operational role focuses on technical acceptance, safety verification, and data management for tank units entering and leaving the site. The coordinator is responsible for technical validation, ensuring every unit is safe to process and documented accurately to protect company revenue and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Processing: quote; right first time & quote approach to verifying alphanumeric strings and technical data.
  • Technical Aptitude: Interpret chemical product names, MSDS, and tank container constraints.
  • Professional Communication: Manage drivers and maintain site rules and documentation requirements.
  • Problem Solving: Resolve discrepancies in paperwork or customer orders at the point of entry.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a logistics, terminal, or industrial environment.
  • Working knowledge of ERP or bespoke management software (e.g., Exact, SAP).
  • Competency in Google Workspace for daily reporting and communication.
