- Partner closely with designers, researchers, product managers and engineers to ship impactful work you’re proud of

- Work with legal and regulatory teams to make sure content you write is compliant with industry standards and regulations, where necessary
- Contribute to the evolution of content standards at Depop, including writing guidelines and AI best practices
Requirements
- You have a strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to write clear and engaging content for a variety of digital products and platforms
- 5‑8+ years experience as a UX writer / content designer
- Experience writing for a US audience, or localising your content
- You’re able to balance key user needs with business objectives
- You have a strong understanding of UX design principles and how content influences user behaviour and interaction
- You’re able to justify your copy decisions with user research, competitor research or UX best practices
- You have excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively individually and as part of particular squads where necessary
- You have strong organisational skills and thrive in an environment that requires you to manage multiple projects, with several teams, simultaneously
- You’re proficient in Figma and know when AI can and can’t help you produce your best work
Heads up, this role probably isn’t for you if:
- Your experience is mostly in marketing content, advertising, copywriting or journalism – and you have no hands‑on experience of content design or working in UX
