We’re currently hiring for a Product Manager to lead the Web Sellers Team on a fixed-term basis. The Sellers product team works to build experiences that help sellers succeed on Depop. You will be reporting to the Senior Director of Product.

Responsibilities:
  • Vision, strategy and roadmap: Define and drive the web sellers product vision, as it relates to the Sellers product strategy.
  • Deciding what to build: Working with product squad leadership (designer, engineering manager) to prioritise features that deliver the highest impact against quarterly objectives, the wider Sellers strategy, within constraint of the teams’ resources.
  • Combine user research, rigorous data exploration and technical guidance to make informed decisions about the vital few worth building, what to not pursue and when to adjust focus where necessary.
  • Scope and effectively prioritise new features to ensure the right balance between effort and impact.
  • Product Execution: Work with squad leadership to ensure solutions are simple, intuitive, and web-optimised.
  • Working with the engineering team to ensure features are built to specifications, championing quality and product excellence.
  • Leverage experimentation when appropriate to test and learn against hypotheses.
  • Recognising obstacles to the team, and making sure they are escalated or resolved before they impact delivery.
  • Keeping everyone aligned and informed: Aligning with the Senior Product Director and functional leadership on the priorities and strategic goals of the wider product area.
  • Motivating the team and giving them the context they need to reach their potential.
  • Identifying and leveraging the expertise of key functional stakeholders (e.g. Engineering, Design, Product Marketing) and other product squads to help shape and execute on the vision for your area.
  • Creating and fostering a team culture that keeps people engaged and focused.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in product execution and delivery of web-first experiences.
  • Robust technical understanding of web development.
  • Great leadership and sense of ownership.
  • Excellent communication skills and executive presence.
  • Extremely collaborative.
  • Strategic and commercial acumen.
  • Strong accountability and ownership.
  • Previous experience as a Product Manager/Product Owner in an agile environment.
