The Role
This position has a strong focus on frontend development, centered on building exceptional user experiences with React. You will be the key player in developing our client-facing applications. A basic understanding of Go is a great bonus, as it will help you collaborate effectively with the backend team and occasionally contribute to services. We are seeking someone with a proven track record in building modern, performant web applications and a mindset for writing clean, maintainable code.
Day-to-day duties
- Developing intuitive, responsive, and high-performance user interfaces using React.
- Collaborating closely with product and design teams to transform complex user needs into elegant, technical solutions.
- Writing clean, testable, and maintainable frontend code.
- Participating in architectural discussions and helping shape frontend best practices.
- Troubleshooting and resolving frontend production issues.
- Collaborating with backend developers on API design and integration.
- Contributing to or maintaining scalable backend microservices in Go, with support from the team.
Essentials
- Proficiency in React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Solid experience in building and maintaining complex frontend applications.
- Understanding of state management, component lifecycle, and frontend performance optimization.
- Experience working with and integrating RESTful APIs.
- Strong grasp of software engineering fundamentals: testing, documentation, and reliability.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills: you're comfortable working cross-functionally with engineers, designers, and product managers.
- A team-first mindset: open to feedback, different perspectives, and collaborative problem-solving.
