Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Senior Electrical Engineer with experience in the design of high voltage (HV) networks from 33kV – 132kV required to join a busy design department within an organisation that specialises in power distribution engineering.

The company is renowned for the high quality of its work across design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of HV assets and has a strong pipeline of projects to deliver.

The HV Design Engineer will be responsible for the design of HV networks, including protection systems and grid integration / connections, as well as mentoring less experienced HV Design Engineers, taking an active part in meetings and offering expert technical views to customers.

Previous experience as an HV Design Engineer is essential. Applications from people working for an Independent Connections Provider (ICP) and looking for career progression with the opportunity to work on more technically challenging projects are welcome.

The position is based in East Anglia, with the option of hybrid working.
