Working for an organisation at the heart of low carbon energy infrastructure initiatives, the purpose of this role is to bring about the successful delivery of multi-utility projects.
Overseeing project excellence from inception to completion, the responsibilities include:
- Ensuring customer / client satisfaction – acting as the client's main point of contact throughout the project, building a strong relationship built on understanding and delivering on their requirements, strong project management and excellent communication
- Team management and motivation – training and assessing performance of the team, using KPIs and reviews
- Monitoring, tracking and reporting on team performance and project progress
- Data management
- Policy and legislative compliance – for all team members and sub-contractors
- Stakeholder and client communication – taking part in meetings, representing the organisation and keeping clients and stakeholders updated on project progress, commercials, challenges and successes
- Budgetary oversight – taking care to ensure works delivered are carried out within budget and invoices are sent in a timely manner
- SHEQ – champion and ensure compliance with relevant legislation, industry standards and company Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental policies
Qualifications and Experience:
The ideal applicant will be a Project Manager / Project Engineer with experience in the utilities industry (HV, new connections, gas, water), with a background successfully delivering schemes and managing client relationships. Applications are also welcome from Project Managers with experience working in the civil engineering, construction or building services / M&E sectors.
