As an Engineering Technician, responsibilities will include:
- Being based in the company's workshop performing a range of activities, such as electrical wiring and building HV panels
- Getting involved in earthing measurements and surveys
- Receiving full training to develop skills in earthing and HV engineering
- Obtaining further qualifications (to degree level), paid for by the organisation
- Developing skills in earthing engineering, covering site measurements, surveys and design, with future progression into a Power Systems Engineer role possible
Requirements:
- A positive attitude to learning and development is essential
- A background in hands-on electrical or mechanical installation / maintenance, pipe fitting, fire alarm installation or similar
- The ability to read engineering drawings
- IT literate
- Experience with small hand tools
