This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Engineer with experience in the design of LV or HV / 11kV infrastructure to work on projects for an organisation that distributes, delivers and maintains electricity supplies across the North East, Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire.
Responsibilities:
- Design of new connections and network improvements on both low voltage and high voltage systems, covering:
- Studies and analysis of LV networks, including fault levels, voltage drop and network loading
- LV and HV cable and overhead line (OHL) design for reinforcements, replacements, connections and diversions on the underground and overhead networks
- Liaison with external customers / stakeholders
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Electrical Design Engineer for LV or HV schemes
- Qualification in Electrical Engineering (or related subject)
- Understanding of DNO, NERS and ERA requirements (beneficial)
- Driving licence (essential)
