Excellent opportunity available for an ambitious Electrical Design Engineer looking to progress into the earthing and HV sectors. Working for an independent power distribution consultancy, the Electrical Engineer will, with training, be responsible for the design of earthing systems using specialist software, such as CDEGS. The role will also involve travel to sites across the UK (two – four times a month) in order to carry out tests, surveys and measurements. This is a very niche area of the industry, and the skills you\’ll learn will always be in high demand, so it\’s an excellent opportunity for long-term development and job security. A degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering or related electrical discipline is required. Applications are sought from Electrical Engineers with design experience from the high voltage (HV) or low voltage (LV) / M&E, building services sectors. A driving licence is essential.
