Long-established Lloyds accredited Independent Connections Provider, with an excellent reputation for the quality of their work and happy staff, require an Electrical Design Engineer with experience of 11kV power distribution / new connection projects.
The role:
- Design of new connections (11kV, HV / high voltage) using CAD packages
- Liaison with DNO or IDNO and end client
- Attend design review meetings
- Ensure adherence to best practices, engineering standards and legislation
- Carry out design reviews
The person:
- Experience as a New Connections Design Engineer / 11kV Design Engineer with an ICP or DNO
- Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, such as G81
