I’m working with a Tier 1 Rail Contractor who are on the lookout for General Foreman in the South-West to assist on a portfolio of rail infrastructure, civil engineering and building projects.
The role is open to both freelance and permanent employment:
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the Health, Safety and Welfare of employees and others under their direct control
- Reporting of any unsafe practices
- Developing a continuous improvement culture and the use of best practice
- Ensuring effective leadership, supervision, utilisation and monitoring of Direct and Subcontract Labour Force
- Delivery of works within programme and to budget
Requirements:
- PTS
- SMSTS/SSSTS
- Experience of working as a General Foreman within a Rail environment
