We are a Commercial Vehicle Body Building company that specialise in manufacturing and repair of commercial (truck) bodies as well as tail lift lifting and LOLER inspections.

Possible progression to full time employment after apprenticeship.

  • Learn to join, fabricate, and repair metal and other weldable materials using appropriate techniques.
  • Forming/cutting various metallic materials.
  • Interpret technical drawings, templates and instructions for each job.
  • Gain and develop practical skills in the use of general hand/precision tools, welding techniques and equipment and measuring equipment.
  • Operating and handling machinery and equipment on shop floor.
  • Learn technical skills in inspection and quality.
  • Contributing to maintaining the quality of work we manufacture and deliver.

You will work towards the Level 3 Metal Fabricator apprenticeship standard with Gateshead College.

Monday Friday 8.00am 4.30pm with 30 minutes lunch (1pm finish on Fridays)
