Experience of working in a capability-build environment, in either apprenticeships, early talent or talent development, with significant expertise in setting up and/or running people initiatives. You’re a great leader and you can inspire and engage others to deliver to exceptional standards. Great communication – you influence, persuade and engage across different forms and channels, and can present detailed and complex information clearly. You can build positive relationships and manage stakeholders at all levels, from a wide range of backgrounds across a complex and/or large organisation. Experience of reviewing work and initiatives, and making improvements based on data, insight and feedback. Able to plan effectively and set up and manage projects – you understand governance protocols, can analyse data, activity and performance against targets. You and your role You’ll need experience in a similar role – you will be designing and delivering impactful and inclusive talent initiatives that will shape the future of DWP Digital. We’re looking for someone with great communication skills, who knows how to build relationships that can get the job done. Our brilliant talent and capability teams work with several different Functions and Communities of Practice, and they all have different needs, and different approaches. You will build an understanding of each area’s capability needs and advise on appropriate talent solutions. This could be anything from recruiting apprentices, to running workshops, to creating clear guidance for colleagues. We’re passionate about investing in your learning and development too. Location: You’ll join us in one of our brilliant digital hubs in Birmingham, Blackpool, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle-upon-Tyne or Sheffield. whichever is most convenient for you. Hybrid Working: We work a hybrid model – you’ll spend some time working at home and some time collaborating face to face in a hub. Pay: We offer competitive pay of £42,614. Pension: You’ll get a brilliant civil service pension with employer contributions of 28.97%, worth £12,345 per year. Holidays: A generous leave package starting at 26 days rising to 31 days over time. You can also take up to 3 extra days off a month on flexi-time. You’ll also get all the usual public holidays.
