We are looking for an Associate Application Engineer to join our community of tech experts in DWP Digital. Lead criterion – Experience of developing high quality, robust applications using the Microsoft Power Platform and Power Automate. Experience of working as part of a highly functioning multidisciplinary team supporting Agile/Rapid application developments environments. Knowledge and experience of assist with troubleshooting and the resolution of issues related to Power Platform applications. Experience of implementing best-practices and standards to delivery quality, clean to operate, maintainable and secure code/applications. Experience of creating, supporting and updating of technical documentation and processes. Knowledge and experience of managing support tickets within a ticket database such as ServiceNow. You and your role As an Associate Application Engineer, you will be integral to the development of applications and the conversion of legacy systems into low-code/power apps using Microsoft’s Power Platform and Power Automate systems, contributing to the design. You will be a part of the larger development team and community, helping to champion best practices and adding your experience to the wider development discussion, whilst being supported in your continued learning and professional development. Hybrid Working: We work a hybrid model – you’ll spend some time working at home and some time collaborating face to face in a hub. Pay: We offer competitive pay of up to £38,373. Pension: You’ll get a brilliant civil service pension with employer contributions worth 28.97%, worth up to £11,089 per year. Holidays: A generous leave package starting at 24 days and rising to 26 days after one year. You can also take up to 3 extra days off a month on flexi-time.
