Duties:
- Enter assessment data into school level data management system.
- Organize and maintain assessor files beginning with assessment planning through eligibility completion.
- Assist Special Education Assessors with the administrative functions of the assessment process.
- Coordinate with ISS Special Education for outside evaluation requests.
- Use initiative in carrying out recurring assignments independently without specific instructions.
- Work with students in accordance with plans developed by the specialist and educator.
Requirements:
- Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Requirement.
- Proof of U.S. Citizenship required.
- Direct deposit of pay is required.
- Appointment subject to a suitability/fitness determination, as determined by a background investigation.
- This position requires a Tier 1 (T1) investigation with Childcare Checks since its duties require interaction with children and youth under the age of eighteen (18) years of age.
- Two year trial period may be required.
Qualifications:

- General Experience: One year of general experience.
- Education: Two years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university.
- Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.
Additional Information:
- The hours for this vacancy are 70 hours per pay period (35 hours per week).
- Pay retention may be offered to selected applicants for positions at overseas locations.
- Applicants must comply with the Exceptional Family Member Program requirements.
- Access to care in a military treatment facility may not be available to civilian employees except on a space available basis.
- Employees (and family members) who require medical or dental care in the overseas location will be responsible for obtaining and paying for such care.
