Responsibilities:
- Develop, monitor, and execute contracts for work performed in support of the NSSO mission.
- Review, analyze, and respond to inquiries concerning navy maintenance data (financial or otherwise).
- Analyze data to create and assemble required presentations and reports, providing information on progress, innovations, problems encountered, etc.
- Travel from the normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS, including remote or isolated sites, and be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
- New employees to the Department of the Navy must successfully pass the E‑Verify employment verification check.
- Must register with Selective Service if born after 12‑31‑59.
- Must obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain or maintain the required clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Work may be performed in areas with potentially harmful physical and chemical agents; must participate in medical surveillance programs.
- Must complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE‑450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications:
- At least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS‑12 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
- Experience providing activities with business process improvement products and IT requirements to support shipyard operations.
- Experience utilizing Advanced Industrial Management (AIM), Advanced Industrial Management Express (AIMXp), Material Requirements (MRQT), and Concerto.
- Experience maintaining personnel protection programs consistent with applicable laws and regulations.
- Experience implementing, evaluating, and improving processes and procedures to monitor the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of all NSSO programs.
- Experience executing responsibilities and maintaining support for the division within broad guidelines provided by the Operations Branch Director.
- Experience conducting business analysis and cost‑benefit analysis.
