Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join OHID South West to help drive forward improvements in health and wellbeing and tackle inequalities in health. We are looking for two outstanding specialists in public health to work with a wide range of internal and external national, regional, and local partners and stakeholders to develop, drive and scale-up delivery of national and regional public health programmes. You will provide public health leadership, expertise, and system support to help address both complex and emerging public health challenges. You will have line management responsibilities for a small team.
Main Duties of the Job
OHID South West is a dynamic & fast-paced team and post holders will be required to contribute to a wide range of high-profile public health related work and be confident to work with a broad range of senior internal and external stakeholders to create change.
We are looking for dynamic and self-motivated individuals who can manage themselves and others independently, work under pressure and be comfortable with complexity and change. Applications would be welcomed from individuals who can demonstrate skills and experience in creative and critical thinking, innovation, strategic planning and shaping and delivering complex programmes.
This is an exciting period to join OHID as a relatively new organization within the public health system and will provide the right candidate with significant experience and opportunities to learn, develop and make a real difference to people’s lives.
