We\’re searching for two Senior Product Managers to join DWP Digital\’s Children and Families team, helping deliver inclusive, user-centred services for separated families and expectant mothers. You\\\’ll lead product strategy, make evidence-based decisions, and guide service transformation across multiple teams, mentoring, engaging with stakeholders, and contributing to our Product Community. Our teams use fresh ideas and leading-edge tech to build and maintain digital solutions that will be used by nearly every person in the UK, every day and at key moments in their lives.

  • Decision-making – You\\\’re comfortable making decisions under pressure or with limited information, using sound judgement to move things forward when it counts.
  • Developing others – You\\\’re a natural leader who supports and grows others. You\\\’ve mentored and coached product people and teams, helping them deliver high-quality products and services.

You\’ll be leading the charge across multiple products and teams, helping shape services that work across all channels and throughout the full journey. We\\\’ve already made big strides in modernising how we support families, and now we\\\’re looking for visionary leaders who can take things even further.

What you\\\’ll be doing

  • Leading a complex area of work, making strategic and tactical product decisions based on evidence.
  • Owning the product strategy and roadmap, and clearly communicating progress and success to stakeholders inside and outside DWP.
  • Defending bold decisions and creating the space your team needs to deliver.
  • Coaching and mentoring other product professionals, sharing your experience and techniques.
  • Working independently and as part of a senior leadership team. You\\\’ll also be part of our Product Community of Practice – a space where Product Managers across DWP Digital come together to share ideas, support each other, and solve common challenges.

Location: You\\\’ll join us in one of our brilliant digital hubs in Birmingham, Blackpool, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle or Sheffield, whichever is most convenient for you.

Hybrid Working: We work a hybrid model – you\\\’ll spend some time working at home and sometime collaborating face to face in a hub.

Pay

We offer pay of up to £77,740.

Pension

You\\\’ll get a brilliant civil service pension with employer contributions worth 28.97%.

Holidays

A generous leave package starting at 26 days and rising to 31 days over time. You can also take up to 3 extra days off a month on flexi-time. You\\\’ll also get all the usual public holidays.
