  • Digital Modernisation & Efficiency Services Team, Fraud Error & Debt (FED), Strategic Delivery and Core Operating Services Team, Data & Analytics and Digital Health Services Team.
  • External Resourcing team – one of three sub‑category teams that make up the ABBSER category team.

Responsibilities

  • Leading commercial activity for specific stakeholder initiatives across the full commercial end‑to‑end lifecycle.
  • Developing and maintaining commercial pipelines and plans to ensure sufficient time is given to commercial activity.
  • Undertaking and ensuring robust governance and assurance to meet audit and compliance requirements across the Department, Cabinet Office, Government Digital Services, Minister and Her Majesty’s Treasury, and ensuring adherence to Government Commercial Operating Standards.
  • Identifying opportunities and challenging the market to deliver added value through contracts, including social value initiatives.
  • Identifying, contributing to and delivering commercial cost savings, playing a part in achieving overarching targets across DWP and CD.
  • Participating in and driving improvement in the in‑life management of contracts and suppliers.
  • Promoting commercial best practice and DWP/Government commercial policies to stakeholders to maximise compliance.
  • Maintaining auditable records of commercial activity on our eProcurement solution.
