An opportunity to join the Department for Transport’s Digital, Information and Security Directorate at a pivotal point of transformation. This Senior Civil Service leadership role is responsible for shaping and embedding new service lines, driving operational efficiency, and leading end‑to‑end digital service delivery across the department. The role holds significant strategic influence, acting as a senior focal point for digital services, aligning delivery with government priorities while modernising capability, improving user‑centred outcomes, and ensuring long‑term resilience in a complex and evolving digital landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Define success and quality measures for services and drive continuous improvement
- Manage budgets and oversee contracts for digital, information, and security service delivery
- Ensure services are scalable, accessible, efficient, and securely delivered, balancing current and future demand
- Interpret and influence business strategy, translating business needs into change and innovation
