Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (DEFRA) is seeking a Deputy Director to lead and oversee its international development portfolio, align with government priorities, and maximise the impact of the UK aid budget across biodiversity and climate programmes.
You will lead a ~28 FTE team, manage Β£125m annual ODA expenditure and Β£20m legacy investments, and foster partnerships with international organisations and donors to drive learning, risk management and results reporting.
