Digital, Data, Technology and Security (DDTS) is the trusted team for digital across the entire Defra Group. This role is a Business Analyst focusing on ServiceNow within the Service Tooling team at Defra’s Digital, Data, Technology and Security (DDTS) function. You will help turn business needs into smart, practical solutions, working closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, analyse current processes, and find better ways to use ServiceNow to make everyday processes smoother and more efficient.
Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to define and refine ServiceNow requirements.
- Conduct business and process analysis to identify opportunities for improvement using ServiceNow capabilities.
- Develop practical, scalable solutions that align with the organization’s strategic goals.
- Collaborate with ServiceNow developers and administrators to ensure solutions are fully implemented and tested.
Qualifications
- Strong business analysis skills with experience in requirement gathering and process mapping.
- Willingness to develop ServiceNow expertise through training and hands‑on work.
- Solid grasp of ServiceNow platform capabilities, or a commitment to learn quickly.
- Excellent people skills, strong communication, and sharp eye for detail.
