Join Digital, Data Technology and Security Services (DDTS) as a Senior Supplier Manager for resource augmentation used for digital delivery, managing suppliers’ performance and acting as an escalation point for both suppliers and business customers. Make a meaningful impact by providing leadership and direction through the use of Capability as a Service contracts across the digital delivery landscape.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining good working relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Continually monitoring supplier performance using the appropriate processes and tools including scorecards and formal reviews.
- Ensure confidentiality, impartiality and unbiased approach with all the suppliers.
- Supporting the Lead Supplier Manager with procurement, supplier selection and contract management activities.
- Reviewing supplier reports, Management Information and KPIs to understand supplier performance, behaviours and strengths.
- Chairing and operating Supplier meetings.
- Ensuring DDTS suppliers can be utilised in a compliant way, within the terms and thresholds of the contract.
- Supporting the Lead Supplier Manager in Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) activities, such as monitoring high-level supplier performance.
- Some travel will be required to attend face to face meetings with suppliers and colleagues.
Skills And Experience:
- Strong supplier relationship management experience in a digital environment including supplier performance and contract management.
- Commercial background with experience in delivering value for money.
- High level of understanding of IR35 and digital supplier models.
- Proven leadership capabilities, providing direction and support to internal stakeholders.
Alongside your salary of £56,375, Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs contributes £16,331 towards you being a member of the Civil Service Defined Benefit Pension scheme.
