We would like to recruit a dedicated, hardworking and reliable cleaner to join our site team. Our site team works together to ensure that our school premises are kept clean and tidy, providing a safe environment for our children and staff.
Your main duties will include:
- Daily classroom and shared area cleaning
- Maintaining washroom cleanliness
- Mopping hard floors and vacuuming carpeted areas
- Emptying bins, recycling and also replenishing consumables
- Cleaning any spillages (including any body fluid) using correct cleaning materials and with the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Deep cleaning during school holidays or when required
- General porterage duties required for cleaning e.g. moving chairs and tables plus organising storage of cleaning materials.
Ideally you will have previous experience of cleaning in either a domestic or commercial setting although full training will be given. You must be able to manage your time effectively to complete tasks to a high standard. You will be able to work with minimum supervision and will take pride in your work.
Hours would be either 6am - 8.30am or 3pm - 5.30pm Monday to Friday. Term time only + 2 weeks at the beginning of the school summer holiday.
