As a part-time administrative assistant at St Paul’s, you will be part of a supportive and dedicated team providing a welcoming and efficient reception service and undertaking a wide range of administrative tasks. With an enthusiastic and helpful approach, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of the reception and administrative service and support of the Leadership and Management of the school.
As the first point of contact, you will create a welcoming and positive experience for parents and visitors, responding to calls and enquiries in a professional and prompt manner. A flexible attitude towards work is essential, along with an ability to communicate effectively with pupils, staff, parents, and visitors to the school. You must have the ability to work using your own initiative as an effective team member and be well organised. You should have a strong customer service ethos and be able to cope with conflicting demands.
The post will be 2 days each week, term time (plus two weeks). The successful candidate must be prepared to work flexibly when required. Your hours of work will be 8am to 4pm 2 days a week (Thursday and Friday) with a 45 min lunch break.
