Required for September 2026, the Governors are seeking to appoint a Lead Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) to join our established Safeguarding team. St Francis' Catholic School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, experienced and qualified Designated Safeguarding Lead to support the social, emotional, mental health and well-being of our students.
Responsibilities:
- Provide oversight of safeguarding activities and ensure statutory compliance.
- Support the social, emotional, mental health and well-being of students.
- Conduct outreach work with families and collaborate with external agencies including Children’s Services and Family Connect.
- Coordinate the dinner supervisory team, manage rotas and ensure lunchtime procedures run smoothly.
- Maintain strong professional oversight of all safeguarding activity.
Qualifications:
- Enthusiastic, experienced and qualified Designated Safeguarding Lead.
- Holder of a satisfactory enhanced DBS check.
