The predicted salary is between 28000 - 42000 £ per year.
To plan well ahead and prepare solutions, apparatus and materials for teacher demonstration and/or class practical, including assessments. Apparatus to be ready for a sharp start to lessons. To clear away after the lesson, clean apparatus, check for breakages and return to stock. To keep labs stocked, solutions topped up and to carry out repairs where possible. To report work requiring outside or caretaker attention. To keep lists of needs, to order within budget and to unpack orders to the agreed system. To maintain stocks of textbook and photocopiable resources. To keep preparation rooms clean and tidy. To check electrical trips weekly and electrical equipment annually. To keep abreast of safety regulations. To work as part of a team, for the good of the Biology Department. To modify daily routines when other technicians are absent.
