About this Role:
- We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and committed 1:1 teaching assistant who has a caring, child‑centred approach and understands what is necessary to enable children to thrive.
- You will be qualified to at least NVQ Level 2 “Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools” or equivalent.
- You will support a child with specific learning needs in accessing the mainstream curriculum and provide individualised social, emotional and pastoral 1:1 support.
- You will work Monday‑Friday from 08:45 to 12:00 (16.25 hrs per week).
- This is a fixed‑term post reviewed each year until the child leaves our school.
- Salary for Post 1: £9,563.61 – £9,712.46 annual.
- Post 2: As above, but working Monday‑Friday from 13:15 to 15:30 (11.25 hrs per week).
- Salary for Post 2: £6,620.96 – £6,724.01 annual.
- Post 1 and Post 2 can also be full‑time posts (27.50 hrs).

- This fixed‑term role continues for as long as the child remains at our school.
