DFC Work Experience – Customer Assistant
Ballydown Filling Station is a very busy supermarket/fuel station based on the outskirts of Banbridge – the company also have two other busy sites, all of which are expanding. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to gain experience within all areas of a busy retail store.You will gain many skills during this 13 week opportunity including customer service and communication skills, team working, planning and organising, using initiative and working under pressure and to deadlines to name but a few.
Responsibilities
- Customer Service
- Till Duties
- Packing out / stacking shelves
- Stock Rotation
- Cleaning and date checking
- Training in the Deli Counter – prepping and serving food, dish washing, cleaning and packing out deliveries and stock rotation
Skills and Qualifications
- Training is provided for this role with no skills necessary.
Further Information
This work experience opportunity is expected to last for 13 weeks and will require attendance of 25 hours. While on Work Experience, participants will retain their entitlement to benefit. Those who are not receiving benefit are also welcome to participate. Travel and childcare costs may be reimbursed. Participants will also receive an incentive payment equivalent to £10/day to a maximum of £50/week.
