Your work with us When you join us in this pivotal role, you'll be a senior member of our Heat Networks team, and play an important part in building a sustainable and efficient energy landscape for the country. But your work won't stop here – you'll also help to drive the transition to net zero by developing and implementing robust technical standards and regulations to protect consumers and ensure accurate heat metering. Leading enforcement activities to guarantee industry's compliance with legal requirements, and providing the expert guidance necessary to support improvement, you'll build deep knowledge of the industry to optimise the regulatory strategy and empower your team. Committed to fostering positive collaboration throughout our organisation, we'll also expect you to deliver expert advice to government.

Your strong analytical abilities will allow you to interpret complex data, identify trends and inform decision making, and your strategic mindset will see you developing and implementing effective plans, adapting to changing priorities and delivering results under pressure.

You'll be ready to use your superb interpersonal and communication skills to build excellent relationships with industry representatives, policymakers, consumers and other stakeholders, while your motivational skills will be key as you lead teams and collaborate with your colleagues. You should also be aware that this role may involve occasional travel to sites within the UK, so you should be both flexible and adaptable.
