Signet Jewelers, owner of renowned UK brands H.Samuel and Ernest Jones, is looking for an experienced and strategic Trade Marketing Manager to join their team. In this role, you will play a key part in planning, managing, and executing co-operative and brand-funded marketing campaigns for Watches, driving category growth and maximising supplier investment across both retail and digital channels.
As Trade Marketing Manager, you will act as the bridge between commercial, marketing, and digital teams, ensuring that every campaign is insight-led, strategically aligned, and commercially impactful. Youll be at the forefront of shaping the brands marketing efforts and delivering engaging campaigns that drive sales and create memorable customer experiences.
Key Dimensions Of The Role Include
- Responsibility for managing £1.8 million in brand-funded marketing activities annually.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key brand watch partners, ensuring a seamless and successful marketing execution.
- Collaborate across teamsCommercial, Marketing, Digital, Retail, and Financeto drive omnichannel campaigns.
- Lead the planning and delivery of multiple high-impact marketing campaigns across platforms, including websites, in-store, CRM, social media, PR, influencers, digital marketing, BVOD, and ATL.
What You\’ll Do
- Strategic Campaign Planning: Develop and maintain strong relationships with brand partners, creating joint marketing plans that align with category priorities and maximise commercial value for both Signet and its partners.
- Insight-Driven Decisions: Use customer insights, brand performance data, and retail calendars to propose and drive high-impact co-operative marketing opportunities across omnichannel touchpoints.
- Campaign Execution: Lead the execution of campaigns to brief, on time, and within budget, collaborating closely with internal teams across marketing, digital, retail, and buying.
- Performance Analysis: Evaluate the success of campaigns using KPIs, sharing results with brand partners and stakeholders to refine future marketing strategies.
- Budget and Relationship Management: Manage internal rate cards, negotiate campaign funding, and ensure that all marketing activities are tracked, invoiced, and reconciled accurately.
- Deliver Exceptional Service: Provide a high-quality service to brand partners, maintaining open communication through regular check-ins, post-campaign reviews, and feedback loops.
Who You Are
- A proven trade marketer with strong experience in partner marketing and retail marketing within a consumer-facing business, ideally within the high-street or branded supplier environment.
- You have a sharp commercial mindset and a successful track record of negotiating co-funded marketing agreements.
- Familiar with omnichannel marketing channels and the delivery processes for successful campaigns across multiple touchpoints.
- An excellent relationship builder who can navigate competing priorities and collaborate with internal teams and external partners, particularly in buying, marketing, and finance.
- A highly organised individual, able to manage complex projects efficiently, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with set targets.
- Youre data-savvy, able to analyse and report on campaign performance against KPIs, with an understanding of digital performance marketing metrics and retail calendar planning.
- Familiar with co-op marketing governance and compliance practices is a plus.
This role is based at our Support Centre in Croxley Park, Watford with the flexibility of a hybrid working arrangement.
