Great opportunity to join our Logistics Inventory team! We are recruiting for a unique opportunity for our Birmingham Store Support Centre within our Logistics team. As an Inventory Management Administrator (known as Clerk within our business), you'll carry out a series of activities to facilitate the receipt, movement and validation of inventory for all products within the Distribution Centre. Reporting into the Supervisor, you'll undertake stock movements and adjustments to ensure the efficient flow of stock throughout the warehouse.
Typical Duties:
- Counting products and recording inventory levels accurately. This will involve jewellery, watch and gift products.
- Follow an annual program of compliance checks and logical store counting in line with business requirements.
- Review and identify the correct solution for the movement of stock through the supply chain.
- Accurately record stock movements in Warehouse Management system, including adjustments and logging data for analysis.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to inventory management.
- Support the Inventory Management Supervisor in delivering operational service levels, drive down losses and improve all round Logistics accuracy.
Working Hours:
Typical working hours are as follows: 8:30am till 4:30pm, Monday through to Thursday and Friday 08:30 until 4pm. You will be required to work 1 in 3 lates as follows: 12noon until 8pm Monday to Thursday and Friday, 12:30 until 8pm.
About You:
- Competent with Microsoft Office Suite, including producing and maintaining reports within Excel.
- Display coaching behaviours which include respect, guiding, supporting and role modelling which enables consistency to drive improvement across the team.
- Able to learn technical skills and information to carry out problem-solving and find resolutions.
- Strong organisational skills with proven ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Able to effectively plan, prioritise and organise varied workload to meet tight deadlines.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Experience with working within Logistics or Retail businesses.
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management/Logistics, inventory systems would be advantageous.
