This range is provided by Denu Recruit. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more. Base pay range Lead Front-End Engineer (React, TypeScript) – Up to £95,000.

Base Location: London (4-5 days a week onsite).

The Role

As a Senior Front-End Engineer, you’ll be building sleek, high-performance web applications using React and TypeScript. You’ll work closely with product designers, back-end engineers, and climate specialists to create intuitive, data-driven interfaces that empower businesses to make sustainable choices.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable front-end applications using React, TypeScript, and modern web technologies.
  • Collaborate with designers to translate Figma prototypes into pixel-perfect UI components.
  • Work with back-end engineers to integrate RESTful APIs.
  • Optimize performance and accessibility for a seamless user experience.
  • Contribute to front-end architecture decisions and best practices.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong experience in React and TypeScript, with a deep understanding of modern front-end development.
  • Proficiency in state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, or similar).
  • Experience with component libraries (Material UI, Tailwind, or similar).
  • Familiarity with performance optimization, accessibility, and responsive design.
  • Experience integrating APIs and working in cross-functional teams.
  • Passion for sustainability and climate technology (bonus!).
