Senior C# Engineer - .NET, Blazor, Kafka, API, C#

Senior C# Developer (Contract) | Core Banking Systems | Remote (UK) | £Outside IR35

We’re working with a fast-paced fintech company looking for a Senior C# Developer to join their agile team for an initial 3-month contract (Outside IR35 – potential extension)

You’ll be playing a key role in implementing and transformation of a core banking system , building scalable services and secure APIs. If you enjoy solving complex problems and building tools that make an operational impact, this is a great opportunity to work at the heart of an innovative platform. This is a small team of engineers and as much as it is a contract there is a big focus on team focus.

Tech Stack / Responsibilities:

• Build core banking functionality using C# and .NET
• Design and maintain secure, scalable Azure-hosted APIs
• Collaborate across engineering, product and ops to ensure a smooth, efficient platform
• Support DevOps practices with CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools
• They have internal interface which are built using Blazor

You’ll need:

• Proven experience in C#/.NET , ideally in regulated/financial services/core banking – this is a big plus
• Strong Azure knowledge: Azure Functions, API Management
• Comfortable building and consuming RESTful APIs
• To have strong understanding of modern eng principles to make impact on the engineering architecture and culture.

Work setup:

• Remote-first with optional visits to offices in Cambridge or London
• Flexible if you'd like occasional time onsite with the team

Location: UK-based, remote

Contract: 3 months, Outside IR35
