We're hiring for a User Acquisition & Analytics Lead as part of dentsu Gaming in London.
Purpose of the Role
dentsu Gaming is looking for a performance-focused, data-fluent leader to own both user acquisition and analytics across our gaming client portfolio. You will drive scalable player growth through high-performance paid campaigns while building the data infrastructure, dashboards, and insights that optimise every stage of the player journey. Working across Gaming Agency Services, Games Development, Gaming Products, and Consulting, you will be the connective tissue between campaign execution and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- User Acquisition Strategy and Paid Growth: Own end-to-end UA strategy across global gaming titles and markets. Manage multi-million budgets across social (Meta, TikTok, Google), SDK networks (AppLovin, Unity, Mintegral), DSPs, Apple Search Ads, and creator ecosystems. Define testing roadmaps, scaling methodologies, and channel mix for both launches and live titles.
- Analytics, Data and Performance Reporting: Build and manage dashboards tracking campaign KPIs (CPI, ROAS, LTV, retention) across network, audience, and market levels. Use SQL, BI tools, and visualisation platforms (Tableau, Power BI) to surface actionable insights. Develop performance models to guide investment decisions and support client-ready reporting and presentations.
- Market, Audience and Competitor Analysis: Conduct ongoing research into gaming trends, audience behaviours, and competitor activity. Translate findings into segmentation frameworks and go-to-market strategy inputs. Stay ahead of industry developments to incorporate relevant intelligence into campaign planning.
- Creative Testing & Optimisation: Design and run A/B tests at scale across creatives, formats, and messaging. Partner with Creative teams to ensure assets meet platform requirements and maximise conversion. Drive a culture of rapid iteration informed by data.
- Cross Functional Collaboration and Client Support: Act as the bridge between Analytics, Creative, Media, and Account teams. Work with Product to ensure proper UA and tracking setup for new titles and feature releases. Contribute data-driven insights to client pitches and strategic presentations. Nurture relationships with major advertising partners to unlock testing opportunities.
- Programmatic and Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM): Implement and evaluate marketing mix modelling approaches to measure cross channel impact beyond platform attribution. Provide knowledge on programmatic buying strategy across DSPs, including private marketplace access. Build the business case for incrementality testing and MMM adoption across the gaming client portfolio.

- Several years in User Acquisition, performance marketing, or data/analytics.
- Proven track record across multi-channel User Acquisition portfolios.
- Gaming, digital marketing or media experience.
- Experience supporting or leading global campaigns.
- Experienced in MMP's: AppsFlyer, Adjust or Singular.
- Expertise in supporting or leading global campaigns.
