The Solutions Developer will contribute to various projects covering data prep, script, tool and dashboard development as an embedded expert in Dentsu digital media teams. They will identify project opportunities from collaborating with other team members and clients, and discussing their common challenges, alongside helping to run client workshops. They will research and plan the best approaches, considering timelines, costs and ease of use. During execution, they will ensure proper documentation, smooth communication, effective error handling, thorough code testing and correct use of tools like Google Cloud Platform and GitHub, with a focus on security. They will communicate confidently with stakeholders and share knowledge through presentations and case studies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively work with clients and other team members to spot opportunities for projects - this could be anything from enhancing audience data with additional data points to writing an automation script to turn on media campaigns based on weather triggers.
  • Support in running workshops to understand the problems a team are facing that could be solved by automation.
  • Research the best way to build a solution considering timelines, cost, ease of use, etc.
  • Confidently communicate ideas to clients, teams, platform representatives, and any other stakeholders.
  • Facilitate smooth communication and collaboration among stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Execute the build of a solution while ensuring adequate documentation is written, communication is smooth between all necessary stakeholders, errors are handled effectively, code is thoroughly tested before handing over the tool, and all relevant tools are used effectively and correctly.

Qualifications + Skills

  • Experience with any of the following: Python, JavaScript; Rest APIs; Google Cloud Platform (Big Query, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Cloud Scheduler or Cloud SQL).
  • An understanding of overarching agile methodologies, git and version control best practices.
  • Any form of Performance Marketing Specialisms e.g. Paid Social; Paid Search; Organic Search or Programmatic (preferable).
  • Believe in clean coding and simple solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organised.
  • Great communication skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas.
