The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 Β£ per year.
This role has two key functionalities; supporting the Marketing Director with the designing, executing, optimising, and reporting on automated marketing programmes; and supporting the Director of Marketing Operations with the overseeing of the marketing technology stack, recommending enhancements, and new technologies to ensure the success of the marketing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Marketing Automation Management: Design, build, launch, and optimize multi-step automated campaigns (email, nurture flows, scoring programs, trigger-based communications). Maintain and enhance the marketing automation platform (Marketo). Partner with content, product marketing, and demand gen teams to develop effective messaging and workflows. Support marketing and data manager with email A/B tests, and segmentation strategies.
- Database Management & Segmentation: Manage audience lists, segmentation, and data integrity within the marketing automation and CRM systems. Monitor and improve database health (opt-ins, deliverability, bounce rates, engagement). Collaborate with CRM teams to ensure accurate data syncs, attribution, and lifecycle tracking.
- Lead Management & Funnel Operations: Configure and optimise lead scoring models. Implement routing rules and ensure proper handoff of qualified leads to sales. Support lifecycle programs that nurture leads from acquisition through cross-sell, and retention.
- Technology & Process Enablement: Serve as the first point of contact on marketing technology tools and best practices. Train stakeholders on platform usage, workflows, and compliance considerations. Continuously evaluate new tools, integrations, and industry trends to improve automation performance and the MarTech roadmap.
Experience And Skills
- 3-5 years of experience with marketing automation platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Account Engagement, Pardot.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience with CRM platforms preferably Salesforce, administrator certification or equivalent experience.
- Excellent understanding of lead lifecycle, funnel metrics, and B2B campaign operations.
- Analytical mindset with experience translating business requirements into technical development ones.
- Knowledge of API-based integrations or tools such as Snaplogic, Fivetran, Zapier, etc.
- Experience with HTML/CSS for email template edits.
