We're hiring a Senior Procurement Manager as part of our team based from our London office.
Purpose of the RoleThe role will involve overseeing and the delivery of the Client Facing Technology category, which includes Media Practise, Creative Practise, CXM, Research and Data & Technology. This role is also responsible for the management of a small team that support these category areas. The role will require utilising both strategic sourcing methodology and supplier/stakeholder management principles to deliver savings and service improvements in line with business strategy, along with strong line management capability to support the team in delivery and meeting key milestones. The role will also be responsible for day-to-day procurement of technology tools, professional services and support and maintenance where required.
Key Responsibilities- Leads and oversees, for specialist areas of client facing technology (Media, Creative, CXM, Research and Data & Technology), all business-as-usual activity such as supplier selection, supplier set-up, contract terms, negotiation strategies and business improvement plans.
- Responsible for developing, creating and executing the Client Facing Technology category plan.
- Responsible for contributing towards category benefits targets, working proactively with the business and the team, ensuring all members of the team seek opportunities to contribute to the overall functional target.
- Lead and manage a team of 3 individuals, providing support for overall development, well-being and creating a positive working culture.
- Work with a range of exciting technology vendors to provide contract solutions to help evolve the Dentsu Connect proprietary platform.
- Develop contractual solutions which help to deliver Global contracts/frameworks.
- Substantial evidenced Procurement experience
- End to end knowledge with demonstrated delivery against the strategic sourcing process
- Strong understanding of and experience with technology procurement
- Sound understanding of platform development, platform security, platform support enterprise integration & enterprise architecture is advantageous.
- Works well with others - excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Sound knowledge of contractual law
This is a Fixed Term Contract role. The team is based in our London office but operates under flexible working arrangements. The team are currently in the office twice a week. As well as a competitive salary, you'll enjoy a benefits package that you can tailor to your needs.
