Dentsu is an integrated growth and transformation partner to the world's leading organisations. Founded in 1901 in Tokyo, Japan, and now present in over 145 countries and regions, dentsu has a proven track record of nurturing and developing innovation, combining the talents of its global network of leadership brands to develop impactful, integrated growth solutions for clients. Dentsu's UK&I media practice brings together Carat, iProspect and dentsu X, supported by specialist capability across activation, investment, platforms and media partner relationships.
As Senior Marketing Executive – Media Programmes, you'll support the coordination and delivery of priority media programme activity across dentsu's UK&I media practice, working on behalf of dentsu's media brands: Carat, iProspect and dentsu X. Sitting within the media marketing team and reporting to the Marketing and Communications Partner, you'll help keep agreed media partner commitments, activation‑led initiatives and flagship client programmes moving by coordinating timelines, inputs, updates, materials and stakeholder follow‑up. Amplifi will be a key stakeholder group for this role. This role will work closely with Amplifi teams, but it is not an Amplifi brand marketing role. This is a hands‑on coordination role focused on delivery support, organisation and communication. Its focus is helping the right people, information and materials come together so priority activities can be delivered clearly and on time. As a 12‑month fixed term role, the focus will be on providing practical, immediate support across agreed priority programmes, with clear ownership of coordination, tracking and delivery follow‑up.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the coordination of marketing activity linked to priority media partner commitments across the UK&I media practice, turning agreed activity into clear timelines, actions, responsibilities, status updates and supporting materials.
- Provide day‑to‑day programme support for priority media programmes, working with strategic partner leads, Amplifi activation teams, the dentsu UK&I marketing community, GTM brand stakeholders and external media partners.
- Support the delivery of four flagship client programmes per year with Amplifi activation teams, helping to coordinate agendas, partner input, speaker information, invite copy, promotional activity, internal briefings, follow‑up activity and reporting.
- Help ensure each flagship programme has a clear audience, purpose, partner role and connection to Carat, iProspect or dentsu X priorities.
- Coordinate marketing inputs from external media partners, including content, speaker details, approval requirements, deadlines and supporting materials.
- Support partner‑led marketing activity connected to agreed commitments, including client sessions, roundtables, internal engagement, thought leadership inputs, social content, credentials support, sales enablement materials and follow‑up content.
- Maintain programme trackers, status documents and meeting actions, ensuring deadlines, risks, blockers and next steps are clearly captured and followed up.
- Work with the Marketing and Communications Lead and wider marketing team to ensure activity fits into the wider marketing calendars for dentsu, Carat, iProspect and dentsu X.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in marketing coordination, project coordination, agency marketing, partner marketing, media partnerships, events support, client delivery or sales enablement.
- A good understanding of the media landscape, including media owners, platforms, activation, investment and client delivery.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage timelines, actions, contributors, approvals and competing priorities.
- Experience supporting client‑facing programmes, partner sessions, roundtables, thought leadership‑led activity or sales enablement would be useful.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear briefs, updates, programme copy, partner materials, internal notes and client‑facing copy.
- Comfortable working in a matrixed business with senior stakeholders, specialist teams, marketing colleagues and external partners.
- Commercially aware, with a good instinct for what will matter to clients, prospects, media partners and internal growth teams.
- Organised, proactive and confident, keeping activity moving without needing constant prompting.
- Good attention to detail and able to spot when information is missing, unclear or inconsistent.
