This role is within the Planning & Buying Department in the wider Dentsu OOH team. This team is recognised as one of the largest billing agencies for OOH media partners, with further potential for growth. The Manager will be given exposure to senior internal contacts and external clients across a range of market leading household-name global and UK advertisers.

Purpose of the Role

The dentsu OOH team is dedicated to delivering excellence across Out‑of‑Home, known for innovative planning, buying, and partnership with clients and media owners. Backed by dentsu’s integrated network, we embrace new technology, smart ways of working, and a forward‑thinking mindset. This role sits within the OOH Planning & Buying team on major clients, offering exposure to senior stakeholders and leading global brands. You’ll support the development and delivery of OOH plans, helping to manage the end‑to‑end campaign process and ensuring activity meets client and commercial needs. You’ll work with Commercial, Innovation, and Multiply teams to gather pricing, explore creative ideas, and apply data and insights. You’ll also support senior team members, contribute to growth opportunities, and help guide more junior colleagues as you develop.

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning & Buying – Support the interrogation and delivery of OOH briefs, preparing plans and rationale while identifying opportunities for organic growth with senior P&B leadership.
  • OOH Strategy & Delivery – Help develop OOH strategies with Planning & Buying Directors and the OOH Partner, ensuring activity meets contractual pricing guarantees, PRFs and audit requirements.
  • Client Relationship Management – Assist in managing client relationships and maintain clear, consistent communication alongside senior team members.
  • Client Support & Education – Contribute to client meetings and updates, sharing OOH knowledge, market developments and new opportunities.
  • Media Owner Relationships – Work with key media owners to maintain effective relationships and support delivery against agency targets and growth opportunities.
  • OOH Marketing & Development – Capture and share great work and learnings across P&B, Marketing, PR and Multiply, helping to support wider growth initiatives.

Person Specification

  • Stakeholder Communication & Influence – Communicates clearly in both written and verbal formats, sharing recommendations confidently and working effectively with internal teams and external partners to support smooth campaign delivery.
  • Relationship Building – Develops positive day‑to‑day relationships with media owners and agency/client contacts, ensuring good communication, timely responses, and collaborative working.
  • OOH Knowledge & Technical Capability – Uses solid OOH knowledge and relevant planning tools to support accurate planning and buying, contributing to well‑executed campaigns.
  • Project & Workflow Management – Handles multiple briefs and tasks, organising workloads and resources efficiently to meet deadlines and maintain accuracy.
  • Negotiation & Commercial Delivery – Supports negotiations with media owners to help secure competitive pricing and ensure campaign KPIs and commercial commitments are met.
  • Continuous Improvement & Quality Control – Reviews campaign activity, supports improvements in processes, and helps maintain high standards across the team.

This is a permanent role. The team is based in our London office but operates under flexible working arrangements. The team are currently in the office at least 1 day a week. As well as a competitive salary, you’ll enjoy a benefits package that you can tailor to your needs.
